I met Michael the day before Denmark - England in Parken Stadium, Denmark (which I went to of course and Michael was playing right in front of me the whole 2nd half). I had been waiting 4,5 hour in the airport with no luck and been following Becks and Sven Göran to the press meeting in the hope of Michael being there. But he wasn't. When some people I met and I came back to the players' hotel after the press meeting, the players were almost about to leave for their training.

The players came out, but I hadn't seen anything to Michael. Suddenly I saw some legs I knew coming down the stairs - it was Michael. I panicked and didn't know what to do to myself, and the about 8 people who were there let me come in the front row (they could see and hear that I needed to meet Michael). Before I knew it, he was standing right in front of me. I panicked even more, was about to faint but managed to ask him if he would sign my new

Signing autographs

England home-shirt, and of course he did - both on the front and on the back. And he also signed my copy of his autobiography! After that I had two pictures taken with him and I made such a sweet one of him. And I took a whole bunch while he was signing autographs. He was standing long with me and he was so nice. After standing with me, he went into the bus. I got out of the bunch of people and went straight into tears. I think the tears were having a race about who could run down my cheeks first.

My 6½-year BIG dream had really come true and in the best possible way... I don't remember what I have said to him really, I was just in my ow(e)n little private world, and the fact that I was meeting him in that very second... WOW! It's too good when such a BIG dream comes true...!
When all the players were in the bus and it was leaving, Michael was waving out to me! :-)
